During this 2008 late summer season, we are beginning the construction of our new park.To those that have inquired about our new facility, we apologize for the length of time it has taken us to get started. The great news is that we have been recently approved for the development of the first 49 RV sites! That means we will be initiating the first phase of our new park in the months ahead.
Purchase any of our Park Model RV cabins, homes, chalets, or cottages and receive a lease for the 2009, 2010 and 2011 seasons on a minimum of 4000 sq. ft. professionally-landscaped RV site, that has water, sewer and 100 AMP electrical service. Pricing on new park model RV cabins/chalets/homes with three years will range from $55k to $85k. New park model owners will also receive a $1,000 rebate, courtesy of our Park Model manufacturers! By purchasing a new park model RV cabin/chalet or home, you will also be given the first right of refusal on any of the new RV sites that will be constructed in the upcoming seasons. The 49 seasonal RV sites will be available for use beginning May 1, 2009. All 49 RV seasonal sites will be priced at $2,500 per year. The site leases will run from May 1st through November 1st. Reserve your site now. All the sites will be a minimum of 4000 sq. ft, with some being a bit larger.
We want to invite you to join us here at Rum River Estates, where you can have the privacy of your own park model cabin, home, chalet, cottage, or RV while enjoying all of the amenities that this wonderful new community will have to offer.
We are now starting remodeling the property and some existing buildings. Our plan within the next 5 years includes a new main lodge facility along the river that will contain hotel suites for guests, a small store, a lounge, community room, a sitting area with library and computer access, an all-season indoor pool area, complete with workout facility, large unisex sauna and game room. This building will feature a large patio for outside activities, overlooking the beautiful Rum River. The main lodges lounge and community center with full kitchen and bar for park members and their guests. An indoor storage garage will be available for all members. We are also considering placing the possibility of boarding stables for horses on the south end of the property.

Each Park Model RV site will be professionally-landscaped, will include a lawn irrigation system, and be maintained by park staff year round. Eventually the grounds will feature year-round fulltime security officers at the gate and on patrol.
Association fees will be included with the lease of your site. These fees cover maintenance costs and will be determined by the association at a later date.
